Use the Stardew Valley weather predictor

Upload a save or enter a Game ID and days played, then open the Weather tab to browse a dated forecast. The predictor runs in your browser and keeps the save file on your device.

Choose the full save file named like Farmer_123456789, not SaveGameInfo. A save supplies the version, day, and seed values needed for the calendar.

Weather URL parameters

For a seed-only check, use id for the Game ID, dp for days played, and v for the game version. The resulting URL can be copied for a shared planning note.

how to use it

How to read the Stardew Valley weather predictor

Weather in Stardew Valley is partly seeded. The game still applies seasonal rules and special events, but the same save state can produce a useful planning signal for upcoming days. This tool focuses on the forecast calendar rather than pretending that every in-game detail is guaranteed. Use it to choose when to check the TV, water crops manually, fish for weather-dependent catches, or schedule a storm-sensitive task.

1

Upload the full save

Choose the main save file for the farmer or farm you want to inspect. The browser parser reads the seed, current day, version, and supported weather state without sending the file to a server.

2

Use a Game ID when you prefer

Enter a numeric Game ID and days played instead of a file. Add the version when a seed-only link needs to be reproduced on another device or after a game update.

3

Open the Weather tab

This page selects Weather automatically. The calendar lists upcoming dates and the weather roll the predictor can identify for that season.

4

Compare several days

Move by month or year to find a useful block of rain, a storm for specific recipes, or a clear day for travel. Keep the in-game forecast and your farm layout in view.

5

Plan with a backup

Treat a predicted result as a planning signal. Carry normal tools, food, and a second date because special events, multiplayer state, and future game changes can alter what you see.

example

Example weather planning workflow

Imagine a save at day 18 of Summer. Upload the save, let the predictor parse the current state, and scan the Weather calendar for the next storm or rain day. You can then delay a manual watering job, schedule a weather-dependent fish, or avoid moving a building on a day when you need to stay near the farm. The forecast is most useful when it changes a real decision, not when it is copied as a promise.

Input: Save file or ?id=42069&dp=109&v=1.6.15
Output: A browsable month calendar with supported rain, storm, wind, and snow signals
Best for: Crop watering plans, weather-dependent fishing, storm recipes, and travel timing

Weather prediction notes

The forecast is partial

Stardew Valley 1.6 exposes more predictable weather behavior than older versions, but the game still makes seasonal and event-specific decisions. A calendar row is a useful signal, not a replacement for the in-game weather report.

Rain and storms are different

A rainy day can be transformed into a storm in the supported logic. Plan a storm-sensitive activity only after checking the date, season, and the other requirements for that activity.

Sun can become wind or snow

The Weather tab can show seasonal changes to a clear result, including wind or snow where the game rules allow it. Winter and festival days deserve extra caution because normal rules may be suspended.

Version matters

The predictor uses version-aware branches for supported weather behavior. If the save has been upgraded, modded, or opened in a different game build, re-check the version before trusting a copied URL.

Daily luck is separate

The weather calendar does not tell you whether a fishing or mining day is lucky. Combine the weather result with the TV fortune, your energy, and the supplies needed for the actual task.

Multiplayer needs care

A farm can have multiple player records and shared world state. Upload the host save when possible, and do not assume a forecast copied from one farm is valid for another Game ID.

make it useful

What to plan with a Stardew Valley weather predictor

A good forecast helps you make a small decision earlier. It should sit beside your crop calendar, fishing collection, and travel route rather than replace them. These four uses cover the cases where a dated weather signal saves the most in-game time.

Protect crop routines

Use rain days to leave the watering can at home, but remember that greenhouse crops and special soil effects still follow their own rules. Keep fertilizer and harvest timing separate from the weather signal.

Prepare weather fish

Check a candidate rain day against the season, time window, and location for the fish you still need. Bring the right rod, bait, tackle, and food instead of relying on the weather line alone.

Schedule storm tasks

Storms can support a few recipes and weather-linked plans, but they do not guarantee a rare drop. Use the forecast to prepare materials and choose a day, then verify the result in play.

Share a reproducible plan

A URL with Game ID, days played, and version is easier for a co-op group to discuss than a screenshot with no context. Reopen the link after updates and confirm that the parameters still describe the same save.

Stardew Valley Weather Predictor FAQ

What does the Stardew Valley weather predictor show?

It shows a dated calendar of the supported weather outcomes that the predictor can calculate from a save or Game ID, including rain and some storm, wind, and snow changes.

Does the weather predictor work with Stardew Valley 1.6?

The integrated predictor includes 1.6-aware weather logic. Check the detected version and re-run the page after a major update or a mod change.

Can I use the tool without uploading a save?

Yes. Enter a numeric Game ID and days played, then add version parameters when you need a reproducible seed-only URL. A save usually supplies more state automatically.

Is every predicted storm guaranteed in game?

No. Weather is partly predictable, while seasonal restrictions, festivals, multiplayer state, and later game changes can affect the final result. Use the row to choose a date, not to promise an outcome.

Does weather prediction tell me the best fishing day?

It can identify a useful weather condition, but it does not replace fish location, season, time, luck, rod, tackle, or energy planning. Combine the result with the fishing guide and the in-game TV.

Is my save uploaded or stored?

The normal save reader runs in your browser. This page does not need a backend request to calculate the local prediction, so you should still keep your own save backup before testing any tool.
