Use the Stardew Predictor online

Upload a Stardew Valley save file or enter a Game ID to generate predictions for the tabs below. The tool reads the save in your browser and highlights current, past, and future results.

Choose the full save file named like Farmer_123456789, not SaveGameInfo. Switch compressed saves are detected automatically.

Advanced URL parameters

Use URL parameters to override a save state or share a seed-based prediction. Common short parameters include id for Game ID, dp for days played, gc for geodes cracked, dml for deepest mine level, du for desert unlocked, and hsc for special charm.

Geode Predictor

Predicted results from cracking Geodes, Frozen Geodes, Magma Geodes, Omni Geodes, Artifact Troves and Golden Coconuts. The cumulative number opened matters, and multiplayer saves may track each player separately.

Select Player:

Skull Cavern and Mine Floor Predictor

Monthly predictions for mushroom levels, monster infestations, slime infestations, quarry floors and potential Skull Cavern dinosaur levels.

Traveling Merchant Cart

Browse or search predicted Traveling Cart, Night Market and Desert Festival cart stock based on your save state and game version.

Weather Predictor

Starting in Stardew Valley 1.6, Pelican Town weather can be partially predicted. Rain can become Storm, and Sun can become Wind or Snow depending on season.

Train Schedule

Predict train spawns on the Railroad map. The time can be predicted, but the exact train cars and drops cannot.

Feast of the Winter Star Gift Assignments

Predict secret gift assignments for the Feast of the Winter Star and show possible gift outcomes.

Enchantments

Predict the enchantment sequence at the Forge. Multiplayer saves can choose the player whose enchant count should be highlighted.

How to use Stardew Predictor

1

Find your save

Use the full save file named after your farmer or farm plus a number. Do not select SaveGameInfo because it lacks the data needed for predictions.

2

Upload or enter a seed

Upload the save for full context, or enter a Game ID and days played when you only want seed-based predictions.

3

Review the summary

Check the parsed version, days played, geode count, mine level, special charm, unlock flags, and other state values before trusting the result.

4

Open the right tab

Use the Geodes, Mines, Traveling Cart, Weather, Trains, Winter Star, or Enchants tab depending on the decision you are planning.

5

Search or browse

Use search fields for specific items such as Prismatic Shard, Red Cabbage Seeds, or a cart item, and browse buttons for nearby dates or counts.

example prediction

A practical Stardew Predictor example

If your host has opened 120 geodes and you want to know what comes next, upload the save and open the Geodes tab. The current row is highlighted, and the table shows what each geode type would produce at the next opened count.

Input: Save file or id=42069&dp=250&gc=120
Output: Next geode rows with item names, quantities, museum donation markers, and special replacement notes
Use case: Plan when to crack Omni Geodes, search for a missing mineral, or decide whether to save Artifact Troves

What Stardew Predictor can and cannot guarantee

Stardew Valley uses several random systems. Many are deterministic from save state, Game ID, version, counters, and days played, but some events still depend on live game state or separate random choices.

Save files are more complete than Game ID only

A Game ID can drive many predictions, but a save file also supplies counters, unlocks, player IDs, donation status, mine difficulty, and version data.

Modded saves can change assumptions

Mods that add items, vendors, furniture, locations, or mechanics can make item pools and shop predictions unreliable.

Some results are potential outcomes

The Skull Cavern dinosaur list is a useful planning signal, but the game can still make map choices that prevent a listed potential floor from appearing.

Version matters

Stardew Valley 1.6 changed parts of RNG seeding and item logic, so the predictor uses different branches depending on the detected or supplied version.

quick answers

Stardew Predictor FAQ

What is Stardew Predictor?

Stardew Predictor is a browser tool that simulates Stardew Valley RNG from a save file or Game ID and predicts seeded outcomes such as geodes, mine floors, cart stock, weather, trains, enchantments, and Winter Star assignments.

Is Stardew Predictor safe to use with my save file?

The normal tool workflow reads the selected save file in your browser with JavaScript. You should still avoid sharing personal save files publicly, but the page does not need to upload the save to calculate predictions.

Where is my Stardew Valley save file?

On Windows, saves are usually in %AppData%\StardewValley\Saves\. On macOS and Linux, saves are commonly under ~/.config/StardewValley/Saves/. Select the full farmer save file, not SaveGameInfo.

Does Stardew Predictor work with Stardew Valley 1.6?

Yes, the integrated prediction logic includes Stardew Valley 1.6 handling for supported systems such as geodes, cart stock, bookseller-related logic, weather, and other changed RNG behavior.

Can I use Stardew Predictor without uploading a save?

Yes. Enter a Game ID and days played or use URL parameters. A seed-only run is useful for planning, but a real save file gives more complete state for player-specific counters and unlocks.

Why do some predictions differ from my game?

Differences can come from mods, wrong save files, old counters, multiplayer state, version mismatch, or systems where the game performs extra live checks beyond the predictable seed.
