STARDEW VALLEY 1.6 CROP PROFIT TOOL

Stardew Valley Crop Calculator

Use this Stardew Valley crop calculator to compare the crops that can still finish before the season ends. Set your remaining days, available tiles, fertilizer, crop quality, profession, and raw or artisan sale plan. The table recalculates harvests, seed expense, total profit, and gold per day instantly.

LIVE PROFIT COMPARISON

Calculate the best crop for your farm

Change any input to rank crops by estimated net profit. Seed prices use standard shop values where a stable gold price exists; zero-cost rare seeds should be treated as inventory you already own.

Estimates use base 1.6 crop prices, average multi-harvest yield, whole-day growth rounding, and one processing value per harvested item. Giant crops, luck, bonus drops, special orders, mixed seeds, keg time, jar time, and limited machine capacity are not simulated.

FAST FARM DECISION

How to use the crop profit calculator

Start with the constraint that actually limits your farm. A full 28-day season rewards regrowing crops, while a late planting date often favors short single-harvest crops.

1

Set the remaining days

Enter the number of usable growing days, not simply the season number. If it is Summer 18, you normally have 10 days including the 18th only when you can plant and water immediately.

2

Match your real farm

Add the number of open tiles, Speed-Gro type, fertilizer purchase cost, expected quality, and the profession that affects the sale or growth plan.

3

Compare profit and workload

Sort order favors total net profit. Check harvest cycles and daily profit too, because a slightly lower return may require far fewer replanting or processing actions.

RAW VS ARTISAN

Why processing can change the best crop

Wine and juice multipliers reward high base-value produce, but machine throughput is a real bottleneck. Use the artisan mode as a value ceiling, then compare it with the number of kegs or preserve jars you can keep running.

Raw sale

Quality changes raw crop value, and Tiller adds 10%. This mode is useful for early farms, flowers, quick cash, and harvests that exceed machine capacity.

Artisan estimate

Fruit uses the standard wine multiplier and vegetables use the standard juice multiplier. Artisan adds 40%; crop quality is ignored because normal processing does not preserve it.

Seed expense

Single-harvest crops buy seed again for every cycle. Regrowing crops pay seed cost once for the selected period, which is why longer windows improve their ranking.

Rare seed caveat

Ancient Fruit and Pineapple use a zero seed cost because they lack a normal repeatable gold shop price. Treat their result as revenue after you already own planting stock.

SEASON STRATEGY

Best crop is a scenario, not one universal answer

The calculator intentionally changes its answer with time, land, profession, and processing. Use these seasonal checks before buying a large stack of seeds.

Spring

Strawberries become stronger when planted early enough for repeated harvests. Late in the season, fast crops such as Parsnip, Garlic, Potato, or Kale may fit the calendar better.

Summer

Starfruit benefits heavily from artisan processing, while Blueberries and Hops reward longer windows and repeated collection. Machine capacity can reverse the theoretical ranking.

Fall

Cranberries offer repeated harvests, Pumpkins deliver high-value single crops, and Sweet Gem Berries depend on scarce seed inventory rather than a normal shop loop.

FAQ

Stardew Valley crop calculator FAQ

Which crop is most profitable in Stardew Valley?

There is no single winner for every farm. Starfruit and Ancient Fruit are strong artisan crops, while Strawberries, Blueberries, Cranberries, Hops, and short-cycle vegetables can win under different day, seed, land, and processing limits.

Does Speed-Gro affect regrowth time?

Speed-Gro reduces the initial growth period. It does not shorten the interval between later harvests, so its value comes from moving the first harvest early enough to unlock another cycle.

How does the calculator handle crop quality?

The selected quality multiplier applies to raw sales. Artisan processing uses the base crop value because wine, juice, and similar machines do not inherit the input crop's silver, gold, or iridium quality.

Are giant crops and extra harvest drops included?

No. The tool uses average yields for common multi-drop crops but excludes giant crops, luck-based bonus drops, special orders, mixed seeds, and modded crop rules.

Can I use this for the Greenhouse or Ginger Island?

Yes. Choose Greenhouse / Ginger Island and set the planning window you want. Rare crops with no stable shop seed price use zero seed cost, so adjust your decision for the real effort of producing seeds.
